Individual Coaching

Individual coaching improves leadership through self-awareness, discovery, and feedback from professionally trained and certified coaches. Coaching differs from mentoring, which may be mainly about providing advice and guidance. The use of Coaching is on the rise in government and in the business world. Team Coaching

You have a limited time to make an unlimited impact in developing an effective team.  LTUI partners with you in accomplishing organizational behavioral change that leads towards success in the following manner: 

Consultation: Meet with a coach to design an action plan tailored to the team need.  

Evaluate:  Gauge the team culture using qualitative methodology that accurately identifies team needs and underlying issues.  

Assessments:  Based upon the qualitative findings, the coach will determine whether an assessment is needed and if so, which one to use given the team need. Assessments may include the DiSC, FIRO-B, or Gallup StrengthsFinder.     

Duration: a minimum of 20 hours which include:  

  • Consultation 

  • Individual coaching with the team leader 

  • Four team coaching events  

  • Periodic progress reviews and accountability check-ins.

Military Coaching

In order to more effectively lead and inspire their teams, our nation’s military leaders (at all levels) must first look to their own growth, development, and well-being. LTUI recognizes that exposing you to professional coaching is a critical step toward that end.  

LTUI provides an array of leadership corporate coaching programs, workshops, strategy sessions, and seminars for active duty, transitioning, and military veterans.  We approach military coaching with the same tenacity and veracity as our brave servicemembers when the nation calls upon them.  Our military coaching leverages purposeful discussions designed to discover your career passions, personal values, and career goals so you capture your authentic self and how to exploit your personal values and missions to make an unlimited impact in your next transition.   

How professional coaching will benefit you:   

  1. A confidential safe space for active duty members outside the chain of command to navigate difficult decisions or challenging situations.  

  2. Positive, forward-looking ownership and accountability. Coaching empowers current, retired, or separated service members to own their own growth and development.  

  3. Present private sector innovation and outside perspectives that relates to transitioning military members and veterans not traditionally available to current, retired, or separated military members.  

Military Coaching engagements will include:  

Consultation: Meet with a coach to design an action plan.  

Assessments:  Administer a leader style or personality assessment in conjunction with your professional coaching services as appropriate.   

Duration: a minimum of 8 hours which include:  

  • Develop 30-60-90 personal plan 

  • Develop long term plan 2 year 5 year plan 

  • Develop effective exit strategy as needed 

  • Incorporate personal and professional growth

Coaching Workshops 

We introduce tools and methods to facilitate team or group performance improvement and team building.  Coaches work with employees to refine their leadership skills by asking key questions, active listening and providing observations and feedback.  Coaching workshops leverages an employee's goals, strengths, and insights to overcome barriers to higher performance.   

Strengthening organizational relationships and enhance team dynamics in specific areas such as learning how to give and receive feedback or broad areas such as understanding your unique personality and behavioral traits that drive interactions with others. Improve communication, collaboration and productivity by helping your employees gain self-awareness and improve interactions with others.

Topics may include:

  • Leading Difficult Conversations 

This is a great way to get coaching support with a specific organizational challenge on a smaller scale.  

LTUI can customize our coaching workshops for organizations that desire a session for their workforce. A coach will work closely to develop a workshop designed for either the whole organization or a targeted audience e.g. supervisors. Workshops encourage group discussion around the theme and help to drive post-session action.  

Coaching workshop engagement will include:

Assessments:  Administer a leader style or personality in conjunction with your professional coaching services as appropriate.   

Duration: A minimum of 2 hours
