The Role of Assessment in Building a Thriving Culture with an Unlimited Impact
LTUI believes that measuring our clients’ capabilities within a leadership engagement is critical to setting appropriate goals and building a strategy to achieve real, lasting results. These benchmarks are valuable metrics that enable us to meet clients where they are.
LTUI uses assessments to help our clients uncover new ways to communicate, collaborate and resolve conflict. Assessments are offered in conjunction with a training or coaching plan. Assessments provide an objective, common language that every member of a team can work from as a baseline when interacting and reacting with one another.
These tools are used in our organizational development, team development, leadership development, or leadership coaching.

-
LTUI administers an employee engagement survey that measures your employees' commitment, motivation, sense of purpose and passion for their work and organization, and most importantly feel valued at your company. Engaged employees attract more customers and increase productivity, while your disengaged employees will cost you customers and decrease organizational efficiency: this is the main reason why fostering a thriving work-culture must remain your organization's number one priority.

Workplaces are made up of people with different communication styles, priorities, and preferences, so getting everyone to work well together can be challenging. LTUI uses a DiSC assessment to help you understand your own preferences and style, as well as those of those around them. This process helps you better navigate interactions with your team members for greatly enhanced effectiveness.
A DiSC assessment is not a test. It’s a personality assessment—a research-validated learning model designed to help you understand the behavioral styles of yourself and others. The DiSC model looks at the combination of preferences for being active or thoughtful, accepting or questioning which creates four patterns of behavior or DiSC Styles: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness.
By understanding these patterns of behavior, you’ll be able to:
Work from a common, neutral language when talking to your team members
Improve employee and workplace communication
Recognize and communicate with people who aren’t like you…or are too much like you
Reduce conflict and avoid misunderstanding
This tool is flexible enough to complement other team development work, and it functions beautifully as a fun, educational workshop in an offsite or team-building event.
